  • What is Islam

    The Core beliefs of Islam

Islam is a pure monotheistic religion. Which means it is a religion that teaches us there is only one God that has the right to be worshiped and everything else that exists is God’s creation. Further more Islam teaches us that God exists outside His creation. That God is unique, has no son nor partner, there is none co-equal or comparable unto Him, He is All powerful, none can harm or benefit him and none has the right to be worshipped but Him alone

In the Name of Allah, most Compassionate, most Merciful
    1. Say (O Muhammad  ): “He is Allâh, (the) One.
    2. “Allâh-us-Samad (The Self-Sufficient Master, Whom all creatures need, He neither eats nor drinks).
    3. “He begets not, nor was He begotten;
    4. “And there is none co-equal or comparable unto Him.”
    (Quran Surah Al-Ikhlaas)

Therefore God is not a tree nor inside plants, animals, humans or stones. Nor does God become a human being. Nor can a human being become God. But rather God is separate from His creation.

If there was more than one God then there would be chaos. One God may want it to be cold and rainy and the other God may want it to be hot and sunny. This would end up in chaos for human beings in particular.

Islam is not a new religion. It is, in essence, the same message and guidance which Allah revealed to all His Prophets, like Adam, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, David, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad (peace be upon them all). But the message which was revealed to Prophet Muhammad  (peace be upon him) is Islam in its comprehensive, complete and final form

    Perfection of the Quran

Since God is perfect. Therefore any book from God must be perfect. Any religious book that claims it is from the Creator has to be error free. there cannot be any contradictions in it.

A person may think Oh no what if they find a ‘contradiction in my holy book’ . This is not a problem with the Muslims. Allah challenges the whole of humanity to find even one single contradiction in the Quran.

For 1400 years the enemies of Islam, all over the world, have been trying to find a single contradiction in the Quran and they have not been able to do so.

Sometimes they think they can fool the Muslims by taking certain verses out of context or not giving the true meaning of that verses.

However, every time they do that the Muslim scholars easily refute them and make them lower their heads in shame for their cheap tricks.

God is more powerful than Satan. Any book that is purely from God will be error free. Any book from other than God will have errors as no one is more powerful than God, nor equal in power.

It is not the aim of Muslims to insult other religions but we will challenge other religion to bring a book that is error free to us. No other religion is able to do that. And when we point out the mistakes in their books, such as the bible they are not able to refute us.

The following articles will explain about the Quran and its authenticity

    Science and Islam

Scientific advancement in the 20th century lead to many Non Muslims leaving their religion especially in the Christian West. One of these countries being Britain.

Britain waged many religious wars around the world such as the crusades thousands of miles away. However, a large population of British people started to leave Christianity in the latter parts of the 20th century due to the advancements in science.

Many children in Britain attended Sunday school in those days. All children from the of age of 4 to 11 were forced sing Christian hymns, even if they were not Muslim.

But after studying science in year 7 when we around 11-12 yrs of a11-12 yrs of age more than half (if not most) of Christian children in my school said they do not believe in Christianity anymore due to science lessons. .

However, with regards to Islam. Scientific advancement has lead to people becoming Muslim. It Lead Muslims like myself closer to Islam.

The Quran which is more than 14 centuries old but it contains several scientific facts of which we only know about in the last 100 years due to our advancements in science. Thus science has helped us understand some of the verses of the Quran and has lead many non Muslims to embrace Islam. Some of whom are scientists.

For instance Allah revealed in the Quran  more than 1400 years ago a barrier between two seas

    Allah says

“He has set free the two seas meeting together. There is a barrier between them. They do not transgress.  (Quran, 55:19-20)

The figure shows the Mediterranean sea water as it enters the Atlantic over the Gibraltar sill. It does does not mix with the Atlantic ocean. but rather it has its own salinity and temperature Which are are higher than Atlantic ocean.

Although there are large waves, strong currents, and tides in these seas the two seas do not mix. One would naturally expect these two seas to mix. However it is as if there is an invisible barrier which prevents them from mixing. Something which is truly amazing. Not only that, Allah had revealed this verse to Prophet peace be upon him  more than 14 centuries ago. A prophet who lived in the desert and could not read nor wright. These facts have only been discovered in recent times with the help of modern technology such as deep sea diving equipment.

As we know when one goes deep down into the sea. The pressure starts to increase the more deeper we sink into the sea. So much so that without the deep sea diving equipment our rib cage would crush under the pressure and we would die.

There are many more amazing scientific facts that are mentioned in the Quran that we only know of today with the Aid of equipment such as microscopes, deep sea diving kits, the Hubble telescope and so on.

The following Articles will reveal some of the other scientific facts that God tells us about in Quran.

    Muhammad (peace be upon him)

In 610 CE God (Allah) commissioned the Prophet Muhammad son of Abdullah (peace be upon him) to be His last and final Prophet and Messenger to Mankind, in the city of Makkah (Mecca) in present day Saudi Arabia.

Every Prophet was sent exclusively to his own people, but Allah sent His Messenger Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to all of Mankind as Allaah said :

“Allah revealed to His messenger the Quran by which to guide people And We have not sent you (O Muhammad) except as a giver of glad tidings and a Warner to all mankind, but most of men know not”
    [Saba 34:28]

Allah sent the Quran to His Messenger, to guide people and bring them forth from darkness to light by the will of their Lord.

    Allah says :

“(This is) a Book which We have revealed unto you (O Muhammad) in order that you might lead mankind out of darkness (of disbelief and polytheism) into light (of belief in the Oneness of Allah and Islamic Monotheism) by their Lord’s Leave to the path of the All Mighty, the Owner of all praise”
    [Ibraaheem 14:1]

The Quran  is a Message from Allah to the whole of humanity. It was transmitted to us in a chain starting from the Almighty  to the Angel Gabriel, The Angel Gabrial then transmitted it to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). This message was given to the Prophet (peace be upon him) in pieces over a period spanning approximately 23 years (610 CE to 622 CE). The Prophet (peace be upon him) was 40 years old when the Quran began to be revealed to him, and he was 63 when the revelation was completed. the Quran was revealed in Arabic.

  • Islam explained to Hindus

Common questions asked are Which Religion came first on Earth Islam or Hinduism, Hinduism vs Islam which is better and more powerful, Islam and Hinduism which is more scientific

Hindus always say their religion is 4000 years and claim it to be the oldest. That is not true because all the Prophets of Islam peace be upon him followed Islam and were Muslims. Thus the first Humans Adam and Hawa (Eve) were Muslims so Islam is the oldest religion. Islam is also the most scientific religion.

So what is Islam and what does it say about science.

Islam is a pure monotheistic religion. Which means it is a religion that teaches us there is only one God and everything else that exists is His creation. Further more Islam teaches us that God exists outside His creation. That God is unique, has no son nor partner, there is none co-equal or comparable unto Him, God is All powerful, none can harm nor benefit God and none has the right to be worshipped but God alone

The Arabic word for God is Allah and Allah says in the Quran

In the Name of Allah, most Compassionate, most Merciful
    1. Say (O Muhammad ): “He is Allah, (the) One.
    2. “Allah-us-Samad (The Self-Sufficient Master, Whom all creatures need, He neither eats nor drinks).
    3. “He begets not, nor was He begotten;
    4. “And there is none co-equal or comparable unto Him.”
    (Quran Surah Al-Ikhlaas)

Therefore in Islam, God is not a tree nor inside plants, animals, humans nor stones. Nor does God become a human being. Nor can a human being become God. But Rather God is separate from His creation.

If there was more than one God then there would be chaos. One God may want it to be cold and rainy and the other God may want it to be hot and sunny. This would end up in chaos for human beings.

In Hinduism the basic concept is that everything is God. There is, fundamentally, no distinction between God and His creation. In Hindu philosophy, every living being has a self or a soul that is called Atman. It is generally believed that the soul is actually God, called Brahman. Consequently, the essence of Hindu belief is the idea that Atman and Brahman are one and the same; in other words, the human soul is divine.

Furthermore, the Hindu religion divides society into castes where each caste represents human beings who came into existence from different parts of the divine being, Brahman. The upper caste, the Brahmins, came from the head of God; whereas, the lowest caste, the Sudras, came from God’s feet. Though there are officially only four main castes, there are, in reality, many sub-castes. Each one of the main castes is subdivided into thousands of lesser castes.

However the Muslim belief is that God did not create His creation from Himself. When God wants to create something He merely says, “Be!” and it is there.

The concept of God creating the world from Himself would reduce God to the level of His creatures, who merely create something from something else. Were as God creates something from nothing. He is Uniquely One and there is nothing like Him. If He had created the world from Himself, he would be like His creatures. Creation is weak and can be harmed but God is not weak and cannot be harmed by anyone or anything.

In the South Eastern region of the Amazon jungle in Brazil, South America, a primitive tribe erected a new hut to house their main idol Skwatch, representing the supreme God of all creation. The homage to the God, and while he was in prostration to what he had been taught was his Creator and Sustainer, a mangy old flea-ridden dog walked into the hut, The young man looked up in time to see the dog lift its hind leg and pass urine on the idol. Outraged, the youth chased the dog out of the temple, but when his rage died down he realized that the idol could not be the Lord of the universe. He realised God must be elsewhere. he now had a choice to act on his knowledge and seek Allah, or to dishonestly go along with the false beliefs of his tribe. As strange as it may seem, that was a sign from Allah for that young man. It contained within it divine guidance that what he was worshipping was false.

Similarly it does not make reasonable sense that a man would make with his own hands an idol and then begin to worship that idol he created with his own two hands. Who is more powerful the idol or the one who made the idol?

And the maker or anyone else can come along and break that idol.

It is only reasonable that the creation cannot harm God.

Some former Hindus realized this and converted to Islam.

Take for instance the case of sister Kavita. (now called Nur Fatimah ) She was born and raised in Mumbia and went to Cambridge University for higher education. She grew up in an extremist Hindu environment which hated Muslims. She says that even in her adolescence she once removed an idol to a washroom of her house and her mother admonished her. But the young Kavita replied to her mother saying that if it cannot protect itself then why do you seek blessings from it? Why do you bow before it? What does it grant you?

God in Islam is all powerful and All wise. God does not commit mistakes and the devil (or devils) cannot be more powerful than God and thus cannot do things quicker than God nor can they snatch anything from God nor can they fool God. This is the opposite of all other religions.

In Other religions the devil is given more power and abilities than what the devil in reality has. Also in those religions even ordinary men are sometimes given more power than God. In the false religions they evenclaim to kill God.

In Islam, God is ever living and never dies.

But it is said that Rama, like an ordinary man fell down into the river and DROWNED (uttara kandam chapter 106) How can a God die?

    ALLAH (GOD)

Allah is the Creator of all that is in the heavens and the earth. Allah is the True and only Creator, and only He deserves to be worshipped. nothing else is worthy of worship; not stones, statues, cross, the sun , the moon, star, temples, animals, saints, priest, movie stars, football stars, or religious people. All of those are created beings and worshiping them is associate partners with Allah and this is the only sin which won’t be forgiven on the day of judgment and will condemn a man or women to hell forever.

Allah is the Arabic word for God and its is the personal name which He gave Himself in the Quran. The Quran is the last and final revelation to mankind from Allah , which He gave to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) through the angel Jibreal. The name “Allah” is unique because it has no feminine or masculine form (unlike god and goddess). The name Allah simply means “The One and Only True God”.

The name “Allah” has been God’s name since the beginning of time. In the torah its Elah or in some case Eloh (Elohim-. It was also used in the language spoken by Jesus (alayhes salam) called Aramaic.

The Creator (Allah) has perfect attributes. He is the first; there was none before Him and He is the last. Allah is ever living. Everything will die except Allah. He is the Protecting friend and to Him is our return.

Muslims know that Allah does not have the characteristics of people, nor animals, nor any created thing. Thus Allah does not need children nor any partner unlike us humans.

The simple message of Islam is to realize and believe that God (Allah) is one. This was pure message has existed since the first man Adam was created. In fact we can see both Moses and Jesus also taught this message to their people Moses called onto his people “Hear O children of Israel: Thy Lord our God is one “Deuteronomy ^:4 (English-KJV) also that of Jesus who taught and reprimanded his disciples ; “Why does though callest me good?. There is none good but one, that is, God” (Mathew 19:17; Mark 10:18; Luke 18:10 (English KJV)) and Allah says in the Last and final revelation: “Your god is one, there is none who has the right to be worshiped but He, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful”(2:163)

“Allah! there is no god but He the living the Self-subsisting Eternal. No slumber can seize Him nor sleep. His are all things in the heavens and on earth. Who is there can intercede in His presence except as He permitteth? He knoweth what (appeareth to His creatures as) before or after or behind them. Nor shall they compass aught of His knowledge except as He willeth. His throne doth extend over the heavens and the earth and He feeleth no fatigue in guarding and preserving them. For He is the Most High the Supreme (in glory).” (Qur’an: Translation of the meaning, 2:255)

“The One Who created me, it is He Who guides me. And it is He Who gives me food and drink. And when I am ill, it is He Who cures me, and Who will cause me to die and then to live again. Indeed, over all things You have power.” (Qur’an: Translation of the meaning, 3:26)

Islam by definition means the submission or surrender of one’s will to the only true god worthy of worship “Allah”. And Allah sent to us His Book (Quran ) and His last Prophet and Messenger Muhammad (peace be upon him) to show the whole of mankind how He (Allah) wants us to worship Him (Allah) and live in this life.

Islam and Hinduism compared and the advantages of Islam explained by a Sister who converted to Islam from Hindism

Following are some stories of Hindus who converted to Islam which will help you understand why people convert to Islam from other religions and in this case form Hinduism.

Islam is not a new religion. It is, in essence, the same message and guidance which Allah revealed to all His Prophets, like Adam, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, David, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad (peace be upon them all). But the message which was revealed to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is Islam in its comprehensive, complete and final form.

So the oldest religion is Islam not Hinduism. The first Human being was Adam and he was a Muslim. People began only to become non Muslims by commiting Shirk (polythesism. idol worship etc) during the time of Prophet Noah before that every human being was a Muslim.

For 1400 years the enemies of Islam all over the world have been trying to find a single contradiction in the Quran and they have not been able to do so. Every time they think they have the Muslims fooled by taking certain verses out of context or not giving the true meaning of that verses. The Muslim scholars easily refute them and make them lower their heads in shame. For their cheap tricks. God is more powerful than Satan. Any book that is purely from God will be error free. Any book from other than God will have errors as no one is more powerful than God nor equal in power.

Scientific advancement in the 20th century lead to many Non Muslims leaving their religion on mass scale. Such as what has happened in Britain. which used to be a fundamentalist Christian country, Which waged religious wars all over the world for centuries. The religious wars it fought may not have stopped but the majority population left Christianity.

However, with regards to Islam. Scientific advancement has lead to people becoming Muslim. The Quran which is more than 14 centuries old, contains so many scientific facts that only know we know about. Thus science has helped us understand some of the verses of the Quran and has lead many non Muslims to embrace Islam. Some of which are scientists.

A prophet who lived in the desert and could not read nor right. And these facts have only been discovered in recent times with the help of modern technology such as deep sea diving equipment.

Sister UmmMariam who converted to Islam explains differences between Islam and Hinduism

    Muhammad (peace be upon him)

In 610 CE God (Allah) commissioned the Muhammad son of Abdullah (peace be upon him) to be His last and final Prophet and Messenger to mankind, in the city of Makkah (Mecca) in present day Saudi Arabia.
Every Prophet was sent exclusively to his own people, but Allah sent His Messenger Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to all of mankind as Allaah said (interpretation of the meaning)

Allah says (interpretation of the meaning):

  • Islam and Hinduism

Assalaamu Alaykum wa rahmatullaahi wa barakaatuh.

    1. One of the most obvious advantage of converting to islam is the sense of calmness and wellbeing that comes to any person who has realised life’s basic truth that there’s only one God.

Islam itself is associated with inner peace. Islam teaches us to establish a relationship between god n yourself in the most simple, decent n pure way.. wonderful are those moments in which a person turns to his Lord and knows that he is the only One who grants relief from distress.
If you believe in a creator, then the real advantage is Islam has philosophical answer to all your queries, including free-will, pre-destination, time, heaven, hell and last but not least the reason for your existence.
Since the creed is so basic and simple, it is very easy to follow and most importantly you don’t have to be a priest or a high level scholar to connect to GOD following the rituals. They are set in such a way that, it is possible for anyone to escalate to a next spiritual level.

Unlike Hinduism, where you have to worship so many gods. And one is so confused as to which god he should pray to for different stuff..that just creates diversion of worship. also hindu gods are so into worldy sutff which decreases their godliness.. Hinduism doesn’t really help us to connect to God .. islam helps us to reach higher level of conscience where we dont require any idol for worship. It helps us to get closer to god without evn seeing him in form of idols.

2 Islam frees our mind form superstitions and uncertainties

it teaches what is haram n halal and liberates our conscience from fear and oppression of this world .. then we are no more bound to follow things like fashion or consumerism we become free from this system that rules the life of people who aren’t truly submitted to Allah swt. Nothing in this dunya matters, you are kidding yourself if u think it does, its all so irrelevant. Islam makes youe life simple.. islam is not just a religion but a way to live under the guidance of Allah swt. Every thing is explained in detail and the reason for why we have to follow a particular thing is also specified this is not found in Hinduism.

There are just way to many superstitions written down in the Hindu culture which vary from place to place but, do exist in most parts of the country. For instance,
Prioritised days: I don’t get the logic when people fast / avoid eating non vegetarian food, avoid haircuts, avoid shopping on some specific days of the week / month / year. The same God is unaffected if you eat non veg , or get haircuts, or go shopping on the other days!
This creats difficulty in life when u are bound to follow certain things without any specific reason

3 Other problem is caste system

Which has been going on since olden days wherein people are graded unequally.. A part of it still exist in the modern hindu society where people are judged and segregated by their ser names. Even now when it comes to marriage or any other social activity Hindus are always into cast discrimination. For example, A brahmin will always reconsider and wouldnt want his daughter getting married to a lower cast peraon evn if that person is rich or wealthy because Brahmins are the so called elite here, because they were, well, born Brahmins. So they dont associate with lower castes. in some parts india people of lower castes are still made to do odd jobs n considered as untouchables. This is the reason major part of such people got converted to various religions.

One advantage is that Islam teaches that people are all equal in the eyes of God except for their deeds (which is judged by God alone), and thus, it is a brotherhood that transcends race, color, nationality, language, tribe, caste, rich/poor etc.
In the house of God, in prayer, Muslims stand side by side whether you are the a king or a peasant. There are no separate congregations/mosques based on nationality or ethnicity. Everyone is treated equal. You can pray at home or anywhere at all, without middleman
It is stated that, without doubt the believers are brothers of one another so then make peace and harmony between your brothers and have consciousness of Allah so that maybe He will show you mercy. the Qur’an invites humanity to unite and come together under the principles of love and affection and thus, has referred to the faithful believers of a society as being brothers (and sisters) of one another.

4 The line separating Hinduism with other religions is either erased or was never carved.

Though it may not be a problem for many but for some, it leaves them in a no man’s land. Hindus are often confused if they are religious, atheist, agnostic or a combo. Opinions, interpretations, no single founder no single holy book looks chaotic and comes across as it’s largest drawback. You can be a Hindu and still Not worship or follow any deity.
Follow or worship more than one (even hundreds) deity.
Question a deity, existence and principles.
Never visit a temple. Like my nani who hardly visits.
You can attain any look, carry any attire.

In a sentence, Hinduism lack a rigid boundary definition for it’s followers. You may be a Hindu but not live like a Hindu because you don’t know where the line starts and where it ends. Hinduism isnt organised, you are free to accept and reject things. There are no such specific terms according to which u should live your life..

But in Islam everything is mentioned is detail. Every single thing in islam is based on making our relation and our bond with Allah swt more stronger, such as the five daily prayers, making dua. purification (such as wudhu and ghusl), wearing hijab being modest which helps females to protect themselves, it is a protection given by Allah swt. It helps them to express themselves in a better way, people get to know their beliefs thoughts and views first, rather than physical appearance. They can feel safe and always be in a pure state.

5 So as far as we are concerned with the Hindu religious book like the bhagwat geeta which is a guide book to life or the vedas one cannot say for sure if they were the revelations of God.

they were only meant for people of that time and were to be followed only for that particular period of time. Today all human beings through out the world including India should only follow the last and final Revelation of God, i.e. the Qur’an.
the Glorious Qur’an is to be followed for eternity, Allah (swt) has taken upon Himself to maintain its original purity and guard it from corruption. Allah says in Glorious Qur’an.

Surah Hijr chapter 15 verse 9

“We have, without doubt, sent down the Message; and We will assuredly guard it (from corruption).”
    [Al-Qur’an 15:9]

For a religion to be considered the best, it should have the solution to all the problems of mankind. It should be the religion of truth, and should be applicable to all ages. Islam is the only religion which has the solution to all the problems of mankind. e.g. the problem of alcoholism, surplus women, rape and molestation, robbery, racism, casteism, etc.
Islam is the religion of truth, and its laws and solutions are applicable to all the ages. The Qur’an is the only religious book on the face of the earth, which has maintained its purity and authenticity proving itself to be the word of God in all the ages. i.e. previously, when it was the age of miracles, literature and poetry and in present times when it is the age of science and technology. Moreover, Islam is not a man-made religion, but a religion revealed and inspired by Almighty God. It is the only religion acceptable in His Sight.

Faults in hinduism are uncountable. The  more you learn islam more you understand that Hinduism is so false.

    1) According to Holy Quran,

    Surah Ikhlas
    Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem1.Qul huwal laahu
    2.ahad
    3.Allah hus-samad
    4.Lam yalid wa lam yoolad
    5.Wa lam yakul-lahu kufuwan ahad

    Meaning :

    1.Say: He is Allah, the One and Only;
    2.Allah, the Eternal, Absolute;
    3.He begetteth not, nor is He begotten;
4.And there is none like unto Him

So anyone who fits these categories is only one God. Since in Hinduism most of the gods have kids and wife they can’t be called as gods for instance, the main god Shiva has 2 kids and wife also one of their kid Ganesh ,has 2 wives. Moreover in Hinduism people worship animals and various avatar of their gods on earth and since all of them don’t fulfill the above so therefore they can’t be called as gods. As they are not eternal and they are born and they also have their families.

For instance, lord Ram who had a wife Sita and she was kidnapped by a demon. But when Ramsaved her and bought her back he refused to stay with Sita just cause she had spent a lot of time in the demons house so Ram became suspicious about her but actually she was a very pure woman, still Ram left his wife who later became pregnant too. So he isn’t god either. Same with Lord Krishna who had more than a thousand wives. And both of them that to face death.

So having so many gods to worship in Hinduism actually creates diversion of worship. One can’t concentrate, as per Islam there is only one God Allah ta’ala and to him we have to worship which seems perfect to me. Also some festivals are just an innovation like Ganesh utsav and very many cause nothing but harm to nature like Diwali causing air pollution.

Also in Hinduism there is no proper way of praying. There are only mantras prayers and aartis which don’t help that much to connect with God. No evidence of purifying yourselves before praying. There is no such thing called as making dua for various things through out the day so that we remember Allah ta’ala every sec of our lives and be grateful to him. In addition to that the lord Shiva himself consumes intoxicating substances to focus while mediating so there are no restrictions drawn for common people to indulge in such stuff like drink alcohol or smoke.

Next improper thing is idol worship.

God can’t be put into those idols made of soil its so wrong to confine god to just an idol. And Islam also helps us to reach higher consciousness as we don’t require any statue/idol to worship Allah ta’ala. It helps us to get closer to god without even actually seeing the God. It makes our belief and faith that strong.

No proper knowledge is given about life and thereafter its only that we keep spinning in the web of life becoming various life forms, either in heaven(in heaven till our good deeds are over) or hell(till punishment is over) and en back in the web until reaching enlightenment but in Islam there is proper guidance given about the sole purpose of a human life is worshiping Allah ta’ala, how to earn Jannah how to live a pure life rather the halal life stay away from haram how to be modest and pure it helps us to see life through a different perspective with Islam every problem in life is nothing but a test to get closer to Allah ta’ala. According to the Prophet (peace be upon him) this world is a prison for a believer and a paradise for a disbeliever it helps us to understand that we don’t belong to this world our Lord has something better more nice for the righteous people.

There are various improper rituals like sati or the widow has to shave her head and become bald. Remarriage is allowed only for men . And there are various caste systems the untouchables deprived of various rights. Only the Brahmins are superior. Women cant lead a house or own a business and various other stuff. Many amongst these are still prevalent ,women are still disrespected and to some extent its because of this ideology carried on. But Islam gives proper rights equal status to both men and women since the ancient times. Women are made to wear hijab Because its a protection from Allah ta’ala it helps them to be more effective with their speech and views. People get to know their belief thoughts views first rather than their physical appearance It helps them to express oneself in a better way modest way.

The most worst part about Hinduism is the Shiva linga which is worshiped by many and is actually the penis of Lord Shiva .

My dad himself has told me this and I have also confirmed it from various sources on Internet. Phew! Knowing this my dad still doesn’t have any problem to worship it. Yuck! Also there’s an issue with the temples too they have pictures of naked women inside and outside various temples in south India and other parts of India. When asked my dad he said it’s because it helps us to focus on our prayers rather than on the nude pictures but who the hell would like to pray in such an environment also how can they keep their gods inside such impure places total nonsense. I never wanted to say all this because it’s too yuck n euuu but I felt its important.

So now maybe I can conclude that its a pure waste of life .. to live in the ignorance.

With Islam you can make your life happier and feel at ease that there is some one above us who is going to pass justice and who cares for all of us. The simple fact that he took time to make you says that your special to him. Also to be kind to our fellow brothers and sisters as even they are the creation of God, of Allah ta’ala and we should be together as one ummah.

One more thing people in Hinduism ask stuff from God it can be anything and when they get it they offer gold or anything they promised they would. People fail to understand that he is God not a wish granting genie. We are to pray to him and be patient. Islamically We get what we deserve. If not then its just because God will give us something better or that reward is been reserved for thereafter. The pens have been lifted and the ink has already dried.

Another concept of Hinduism karma which says the some of a person’s actions in this and previous states of existence, are viewed as deciding their fate in future existences. But in Islam its kifarah which means what you give is what you will get back either its good or vice versa. Allah ta’ala is always fair and above all He knows everything.

One last thing I would like to mention is Gods in Hinduism also have their evil forms for example the kali maata who is also worshipped by people who do voodoo magic and black stuff to people. She has a very fierce look too. She gives power to bad people.

Wassalaam Alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuh.

    Islam and Hinduism explained

  • ISLAMIC BELIEF

The first thing that one should know and clearly understand about Islam is what the word “Islam” itself means.

The religion of Islam is not named after a person as in the case of Christianity which was named after Jesus Christ, Buddhism after Gotama Buddha, Confucianism after Confucius, and Marxism after Karl Marx. Nor was it named after a tribe like Judaism after the tribe of Judah and Hinduism after the Hindus.

Islam is the true religion of “Allah” and as such, its name represents the central principle of Allah’s (“God’s”) religion; the total submission to the will of Allah “God”.

The Arabic word “Islam” means the submission or surrender of one’s will to the only true god worthy of worship “Allah” and doing that surrender and submission peacefully. By peacfully it means that one does not complain about surrendering nor submitting one’s will to that of what Allah orders him/her to do. Anyone who does so is termed a “Muslim”,  . Hence, it was not a new religion brought by Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in Arabia in the seventh century, but only the true religion of Allah re-expressed in its final form

Allah is the Creator of all that’s is in the heavens and the earth. Allah is the True and only Creator, and only He deserves to be worshipped. nothing else is worthy of worship; not stones, statues, crosses, the sun , the moon, star, temples, animals, saints, priest, movie stars, football stars, or religious people. All of those are created beings and worshiping them is associate partners with Allah and this is the only sin which wont be forgiven on the day of judgment and will condemn a man or women to hell forever.

Allah is the Arabic word for God and its is the personal name which He gave Himself in the Quran

Associating partners with Allah is the most evil sin that a human being can commit and it is the only sin that unforgivable. If a person commits a sin and dies without repenting then Allah may choose to forgive him or may choose to punish him for some time in the hellfire.  However if a person commits any form of major shirk and dies without repentance then he/she will not be forgiven and will remain in the hell fire forever.

Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
Verily, Allaah forgives not that partners should be set up with Him in worship, but He forgives except that (anything else) to whom He pleases . . . [al-Nisaa4:48]

Narrated by Abu Bakrah, who said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: Shall I not tell you of the most serious of the major sins?three times. We said, Of course, O Messenger of Allaah! He said, Associating anything in worship with Allaah . . .
(Agreed upon; see al-Bukhaari, no. 2511, al-Bagha edition).

    AL-WALA’U WA AL-BARA’

    Conditions of Shahadah    1   , 2

Invalidators of Shahadah Al-Wala’u wa Al-Bara’ The legal meaning of Al-Wala’ (love, support, help, follow, etc.) is to totally agree with the sayings, deeds and beliefs which please Allah and the persons whom He likes. Al-Bara’ (despise, desert, keep innocent of, etc.) is the complete opposite of Al-Wala’ and it is to disagree with everything that Allah hates and condemns.

Al-Barra’ bin A’aazeb (r.a.a.) narrates that the Prophet (s.a.w.) said: “The strongest bond of Iman is the love for Allah’s sake and the hatred for Allah’s sake” (Reported by Imam Ahmad).

Ibn Abbas reports that the Prophet said, “The strongest bond of faith is loyalty for the sake of Allah and opposition for His sake, love for the sake of Allah and enmity for His sake.” (3)

    IMAN

Umar said” One day while we were sitting with the messenger of Allah there appeared before us a man whose clothes were exceedingly white and whose hair was exceedingly black; no signs of journeying were to be seen on him and none of us knew him. He walked up and sat down by the prophet. Resting his knees against his and placing the palms of his hands on his thighs, he said: “O Muhammad, tell me about Islam”. The messenger of Allah said: “Islam is to testify that there is no god but Allah and Muhammad is the messenger of Allah, to perform the prayers, to pay the zakat, to fast in Ramadhan, and to make the pilgrimage to the House if you are able to do so.” He said: “You have spoken rightly”, and we were amazed at him asking him and saying that he had spoken rightly. He said: “Then tell me about eman. “He said: “It is to believe in Allah, His angels, His books, His messengers, and the Last Day, and to believe in divine destiny, both the good and the evil thereof.” He said: “You have spoken rightly”. He said: ” Then tell me about ehsan.” He said: “It is to worship Allah as though you are seeing Him, and while you see Him not yet truly He sees you”. He said: “Then tell me about the Hour”. He said: “The one questioned about it knows no better than the questioner.” He said: “Then tell me about its signs.” He said: “That the slave-girl will give birth to her mistress and that you will see the barefooted, naked, destitute herdsman competing in constructing lofty buildings.” Then he took himself off and I stayed for a time. Then he said: “O Omar, do you know who the questioner was?” I said: “Allah and His messenger know best”. He said: “He was Jebreel (Gabriel), who came to you to teach you your religion.” narrated by Muslim

    Noble Quran

    Quran

The Qur’an (“Qor-Ann”) is a Message from Allah to humanity. It was transmitted to us in a chain starting from the Almighty Himself (swt) to the angel Gabriel to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). This message was given to the Prophet (peace be upon him) in pieces over a period spanning approximately 23 years (610 CE to 622 CE). The Prophet (peace be upon him) was 40 years old when the Qur’an began to be revealed to him, and he was 63 when the revelation was completed. The language of the original message was Arabic, but it has been translated into many other languages.

The Qur’an is one leg of two which form the basis of Islam. The second leg is the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace be upon him). What makes the Qur’an different from the Sunnah is primarily its form. Unlike the Sunnah, the Qur’an is quite literally the Word of Allah, whereas the Sunnah was inspired by Allah but the wording and actions are the Prophet’s. The Qur’an has not been expressed using any human’s words. Its wording is letter for letter fixed by no one but Allah.

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was the final Messenger of Allah to humanity, and therefore the Qur’an is the last Message which Allah has sent to us. Its predecessors such as the Torah, Psalms, and Gospels have all been superceded. It is an obligation – and blessing – for all who hear of the Qur’an and Islam to investigate it and evaluate it for themselves. Allah has guaranteed that He will protect the Qur’an from human tampering, and today’s readers can find exact copies of it all over the world. The Qur’an of today is the same as the Qur’an revealed to Muhammad (peace be upon him).

The Oneness Of God is the Ultimate Solution to theTrinitarian Controversy

Are you aware of the historical controversy between the Trinitarian and the Unitarian doctrines?

Are you also aware that Islam offers the ultimate solution to such controversy?

The Trinitarian controversy is one of the most crucial events in the annals of Christendom. World renown Christian historian Edward Gibbon points out that the Trinitarian controversy, which raged particularly during the fourth century, has successively penetrated every part of the Christian world[1].

On one hand, the Pauline Church (currently known as the Roman Catholic Church) has for centuries fought for the global acceptance of the Trinitarian doctrine. The concept of Trinity is the nucleus of the Athanasian Creed which states that:” There is one person of the Father, another of the Son, and another of the Holy Ghost. But the Godhead of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, is all one; the Glory equal, the Majesty co-eternal… The Father is God, the Son is God, and the Holy Ghost is God. And yet they are not three Gods, but one God … For like as we are compelled by the Christian verity to acknowledge every person by himself to be God and Lord, so are we forbidden by the Catholic religion to say there be three Gods, or three Lords”[2].

The nature of this creed has for centuries been so controversial and mysterious that even its own author, Athanasius of Alexandria, one of the principal leaders of the Pauline church, failed to comprehend it. This champion of Trinity himself confessed that, “Whenever he forced his understanding to meditate on the divinity of the Logos, his toilsome and unveiling efforts recoiled on themselves; that the more he thought, the less he comprehended; and the more he wrote, the less capable was he of expressing his thoughts”[3]

The nature of the Trinity is so mysterious that, as Edward Gibbon remarks, “as often as we deduce any positive conclusions from a negative idea, we are involved in darkness, perplexity, and inevitable contradiction”[4].

On the other hand, the Apostolic Church has over the years advocated the belief in the Unity of God, and as such ruled out the deity of Jesus (peace be upon him). Among those who originally opposed the Trinitarian doctrine were the so-called Ebionites of Nazarenes. They considered Jesus as the greatest of the prophets, endowed with supernatural virtues and power[5].

The mysteries of the Christian faith were dangerously exposed to public debate when Arius, the champion of Apostolic Church, popularly confronted Bishop Alexander, the champion of the Pauline Church. These two were in hot theological dispute for a period of six years – from 318 A.D. through 325 A.D. Arius, the disciple of Lucian of Antioch, the greatest critic of the Trinitarian doctrine, strongly advocated the view that God is absolutely One and alone Eternal[6]. Such Unitarian view, which conformed to the original teachings of Jesus and all other prophets (peace be upon them all), had definitely exposed the Trinitarian doctrine to a critical, controversial state. This, however, did not stop the Pauline Church from gaining control of large part of Christendom. This happened for known reasons discussed elsewhere. The next section presents the historical background of the Trinitarian controversy.
